Thai Budget Airline One-Two-Go Suspends Operations -Lawsuits or Fuel price ?

Blogger Christysweet brought up some very serious allegations about the budget airline One-two-Go in her blog about the Phuket aircrash of an MD-82 aircraft.There are now lawsuits against the airline from the relatives of some of the victims. This is not surprising given the cowboy nature of One-two-go operations.The owner, a Mr Udom is claiming fuel costs are the reason for the suspension.Mr Udom to....

How I got the nick-name Hermano Lobo...

Perhaps some of you are wondering why I use the name Hermano Lobo? Perhaps most of you couldn't really care ?At college with a number of Spanish and South American girls I would often use the London habit of saying "Who?" (prounounced more like Ooooh ! ) when I haven't understood a phrase or expression, which was frequent. At the time there was a Spanish satirical magazine called Hermano ....

Chinese fighter aircraft massacre women and children in Dafur

China 'is fuelling war in Darfur' The BBC has found the first evidence that China is currently helping Sudan's government militarily in Darfur. The Panorama TV programme tracked down Chinese army lorries in the Sudanese province that came from a batch exported from China to Sudan in 2005. The BBC was also told that China was training fighter pilots who fly Chinese A5 Fantan fighter jets in Darfur. Ch....
