| Burmese Society in SingaporeDuring 1991 (3 years after the bloody 1988 uprising), Singapore immigration started to accept many Burmese work passes (Employment Pass - E.P). Before that period, to get Employment Pass in Singapore is quite difficult. That time, our country’s official name was still BURMA but military rulers simply changed to MYANMAR. Anyway, most of young Singaporeans know MYANMAR but.... |
