Chuead Kon Chim (Meat Grinder)When posters for Meat Grinder first appeared a few months ago, the Thai title was ก๋วยเตี๋ยว เนื้อ คน or Guay-dteow neua kon, literally "human meat noodles". The powers that be decided that title, however accurate, was a little too explicit, so the Thai title was changed to เชือด ก่อน ชิม, or Chuead Kon Chim or roughly, "carve before tasting", which ....

Their latest movie, Coming Soon, is, well, coming soon, as in tomorrow (October 30).On Halloween night on Friday, if you wear ghostly fancy dress, you can catch a free screening of Coming Soon (Programme Na Winyarn Arkhad) at 8pm at any Major Cineplex or EGV cinema.Or, you can try to watch f....

Khon Fai Look (Burn)Just three movies are opening this week, and I find it difficult to get excited about any of them. Take your pick - a Thai thriller about spontaneous human combustion, the wacky antics of Adam Sandler or a Japanese-Korean melodrama.Luckily, the Thai Short Film and Video Festival is going on. That's the best bet this week. Or go see In Bruges or Sukiyaki Western Django. They're bot....
