 Filmmakers and artists of various backgrounds have joined together for an 11-film omnibus, Water Drops of Life, which is made in observance of the 30th anniversary of the Royal Development Centre, which has aided rural development in Thailand by improving water resources and marketing of local produce.
All the films are inspired by His Majesty the King’s projects and speeches.
Filmmakers taking part include veteran director Thanit Jitnukul, Silpathorn Award-winning performing artist Nimit Pipithkul, Fan Chan co-director Vithaya Thongyuyong and two actresses trying their hand at shooting a movie, "Kratae" Supaksorn Chaimongkol and Napakpapha "Mamee" Nakprasit.

The short-film project is organized by the Royal Initiative Discovery campaign and the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau. The 11 shorts will premiere on August 10 at Grand EGV Siam Discovery at 2pm. Admission is free.
