Hey guys,

I just came across Yuri's blog  "Are The Nation blogs dead??".

To my relief, he did put it: "Are The Nation (staff) bloggers dead?"

So I thought of sending you all a note.

I'm positive that the Nation blog is still alive.


Why?

How can it be? ....with the likes of  Yuri, Ian, Catch, GG, Pomjuk,

Expresso, KhunPan, Seven, Felix.. and Max... (sorry, I can't really type all names).

I also took a glance at Yuri's comment and I am flattered.

He still misses me and Windy!!!

And Catch22's comment, T-rex --- eh?

I am flattered again..... What a compliment!!!

Nothing much guys, I miss you all. I'll be around.

 If you don't see me here, please don't assume that I don't read your blogs.

Some of them still brings a big smile to my face.

Please let me introduce myself. I'm "not disappointed" I came over form the Nation Forum to spank an immoral purveyor of true lies and half truths - steven.

I had thought to find more intelecxtual stimulations here and I have. Bloggers here are more articulate and more racist and bigoted in thought and opinions. I am one of those. I am polite normally but if warranted I can be the counterparty of any inanitie and vulgarity as the situation warrants.

Ian and some of you assholes who constantly berate The Nation for reporting, I tell you that The Nation was the paper that reported news during Suchi's era. Bangkok Post was a blank. My office subscribed to both English newspapers but I canceled my subscription to Bangkok Post after the event.

What do you expect of Thanong. Thanong has always been biased in his blogging or articles and inclined to favor one party ( PAD, royalist and the junta) more than the other. He will accuse you of being a paid Thaksin poster not realising that he is also a paid poster for PAD, junta or royalist using the resources of the Nation media.

I see Thanong has written something on the front page, realising here people will just take the p out of him. the first couple of lines read:

Hi Veen - glad to know you're still around and probably looking forward to August 8th as much as me.
I think Yuri was right, The Nation blogs were just going limp, they needed an injection of 'something' just to revive people's normal emotions. It seemed that for weeks the only blogs that appeared was the usual crap from Yoon, with sucking up like a lap dog comments. Yoon and Thanong know the value of saturation in propoganda - push your message ad nauseum and eventually the people will break and simply tire of responding and then they will monopolise the stage. Well as you can see it is starting to backfire, because bloggers are reviving themselves and being themselves. Consequently most of Yoon and Thanongs blogs just get a few well done comments from their lap dogs, whilst others are having fun on other blogs.

Feel free to join in the fun anytime - you are always very welcome and a saving grace for The Nation.

Of course I miss you and Windy. Veen you have to realise that in my opinion, your blog site is the best. Thai visa is twee and over moderated. The other sites are obsessed with sex.

It is a pity you have not dragged the bloke at sleep at his desk or the web master having a coffee, to update the site.

A number of influential Thais read this site, they most likely don't bother with the others, like Bangkok post forum.

I hope that your boss Khun Shondi is informed that this site, through minimal moderation is conveying a form of democratic thinking.

I have looked at the other sites, but fell asleep in the process.

Don't let something different and good, lapse into defeat by neglect.

I know that Lalida was a loose canon, but she is the very energy that keeps things alive.
