Yes, that is the point mortgage securitization is a practice that is being reversed and never would have been successful if it were not for a 1999 resort meeting in Florida by Goldman Sachs inventing CDS virtualy gauranteeing all investments.
The Obama administration is not leading but is one step behind the curve moral hazard or rewarding bad behavior was last years question at a monthly average of losing 650,000 jobs permenantly through all sectors and affecting AAA credit ratings of evryone there will be nothing left to argue idealogy with.

Look at the stock market. A numberof U. S. corporations are tanking anyway. The Obama administration wants to reward bad behavior. The U. S. House just past a bill allowing judges to "cram down" or decrease the amount someone owes on their mortgage. This means someone can buy a house and sign the usual contract for, let's say, $100,000. A year later, they go into court, probably bankruptcy court, and state that they cannot pay this mortgage. The court says, "OK, you only have to pay $75,000. Now, where do you think this original $100,000 came from? It came from investors! Now, who do you think is going to invest in any mortgage type instruments if the Senate passes this bill? Maybe you can pull your money together, get your friends to chip in and invest in mortgages yourself after this bill passes.

I think not. If the maddness of continueing allowing the CDS instrument of financial destruction keeps going on it will bring down every major US Corp. and all of the infrastructure with it.

We are the losers having to bail out these Lier's and Greedy people.
Let them Sink like the Titanic. Anyone that foolishly followed the pack investing with these idiots deserves their loss. Not the taxpayers.
Obama is on the wrong course. he is stering the Titanic straight at that iceberg.
