60 years of age for retirement in Thailand need a review. It should have medical fitness to work after 55 years so the production especially in the education, the primary school and high school teachers are facing lots of problem of health.

Where is Thailand going ?

Women in civil service can take 5yrs off to raise kids: Najib

PETALING JAYA: Women in the civil service will be allowed to take a cumulative total of five years off from work to raise their children, and will retain their benefits when they return, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said.

Cabinet has given its green light to the proposal, which would take effect within the next few days, he said.

They will retain their positions and automatically qualify for three of the five notional or standard increments they would have been entitled to if they had remained at work.

The five years' no-pay leave can be taken in stages if they so desire.

Dam, what question are you actually asking? Is it about retirement age or maternity leave?
