Fugitive former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra has allegedly been sighted in Cambodia, says Abhisit Vejjajiva’s personal spokesman Thepthai Senpong. Thaksin was allegedly spotted near the residence of Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen.

Mr Thepthai said if this was true, the Cambodian government should clarify the matter with Thailand, similar to Lao PDR’s manner when it made clear Thaksin was banned from entering its territory. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was inspecting this issue.

Earlier today I made a comment in Hermano Lobo's blog entitled "When there is trouble at home, create a conflict abroad : Troops from Thailand and Cambodia exchange heavy gunfire" as follows:

Contrary to these press reports, I heard from usually reliable sources that:

(1) Thugsin is now hiding in Cambodia under the protection of Somdet Hun Sen, to whom Thugsin "paid protection and refuge fees" of US$20 Million.

(2) Thugsin and his terrorist group Red Shirt Gangsters have set up their DTV broadcasting center in Cambodia to broadcast their propaganda into Thailand constantly and continuously, to subvert the minds and intelligence of Thai people (largely in the north and northeast) who lacks the abilities to think critically for themselves and differentiate between good and evil, true and false, truth and lies, etc.

(3) At the behest of Thugsin the Cambodians started the recent border incidences to divert the Thai military's attention so that they will have less personnel to deal with the up-coming Red Shirt mass rally in Bangkok.

Someone better alert the foreign press like BBC and XinHua News Agency to look into these allegations so that their news reporting will be more objective, truthful and believable.

I suggest Ian look into the mirror at himself to see who is making anything up.  This kind of sarcasm is totally uncalled for.  But then again, we all know that Ian is a Thugsin "worm" and maybe even a paid lackey?  I would think Brits have more self-respect than what he has been exhibiting and expressing in these blogs for so long.  Truly a disgrace to the proud people of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Nothern Ireland.
