True Television against censorship

The acclaimed movie, “Lenny” was shown on the MGM channel carried by True Television.

This 1974 movie traced the life and arrests for obscenity of American comedian Lenny Bruce up to his death in 1964.

The words in the movie, acceptable in 1974, were not acceptable in 1964.

In Thailand in 2009, those words are still considered harmful. True Television censored out the words still illegal to be spoken in Thailand.

It is a delight to see such a blatant cry against censorship as True Television showed, inadvertently, today.
