Back from Beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia

I have returned to Bangkok from Vancouver, Canada recently to take care of some unfinished business here, and I am most happy to see that my nemesis the "L" Thing has been banned from the Nation Weblog.  Here are a few photos of Vancouver that I want to share with you all.

Vancouver is known as one of the most beautiful and livable cities in North America, and indeed the world.  It is a very cosmopolitan city, with people from many parts of the world intermingling with one another and working together to build an ever more beautiful and ever expanding city in Western Canada.

Enough of Vancouver for now, and back to Thailand.  One thing that I am most unhappy to see upon my return to Bangkok is that, as usual, the stupid Thai government has allowed the most wanted and universally despised Thugsin Shinawachamalcallit (a.k.a. Toxin Sinatra in the UK) to slipped away to London, the world's epicenter of exiled thieves, thugs, hoodlums and gangsters from around the globe running away from justice in their own countries.  Why do the British want to shelter these foreign scums of society?  Don't they have enough of their own to deal with to keep them busy?

With the Pigsy "chompoo" government in power, who is a sworn puppet of Toxin, and his whole cabinet of toxic PPP Toxin lackeys in power, what else can one expect?  This country is not "run" by the Supreme Court (or is it?), and even some elements of the Supreme Court are corrupt to the core, witness the permission to allow Toxin and his equally toxic wife to travel outside of the country when they are faced with a number of cases in the Supreme Court. 

Arrest Warrant for Soon-to-be Fugitive Thaksin Shinawatra

Arrest warrants have been issued for both Thaksin and his figitive wife Pojaman and distributed throughout Thailand.  Why are these not translated into English and distributed to all major news service around the world for publication?  Doesn't the Royal Thai Police know that the infamous criminal couple is on the run right now and hiding in the equally infamous city of London in England?  Do the Thai police have any brains at all?  Maybe not, since the new National Police Chief is a Toxin appointee.  What a no brainer!

No one is so crazy or stupid as to allow these things to happen (maybe in Thailand they are!).  I firmly believe money changed hands and any number of culprits may exist inside and/or outside of the Supreme Court.  Will they ever investigate how this came about?  I don't believe so, not with Toxin's brother-in-law as the minister of injustice.  Never!  No way, Jose!  And Toxin has the audacity to claim that the justice system in Thailand is unfair to him!  Why doen't he ask his own brother-in-law why this is so?

As I have said many times before, the only way to treat Toxin is to neutralize him in the manner Ferdinand Marcos treat all of his opponents.  That is the only way to go. 

I think Korn Chatikavanij should call his former boss in Hong Kong, the person who is known as "The Taipan," in the book of the same name by James Clavell, to get his recommendation as to who is the best, most suitable, most respected, most powerful and most influential Queen's Counsel in London for the Thai government to retain in order to ensure that Toxin and his wife are speedily returned to face trial and tribulation in Thailand.  After all, "The Taipan" is one of the most respected and influential person in London, one who is very well connected among the highest of high-so in the United Kingdom.

And don't worry about the cost, since Thugsin will be paying for all of the British and thai legal consels in his case, whether he likes it or not.  I am sure he does not mind sharing a large part of his illegally-obtained wealth stashed away in Swiss, Singapore and other banks around the world with his and the Thai government's lawyers.  He still does not know it, but he started a joke and the joke was on him!
