In the City

I'm officially reporting myself back to the Nation weblog. In the past three weeks or so, I have been crazily busy at work. Of course not, I will not bore you of this part of my life.

This week marks my third week at my new place in town. I've moved to downtown Indianapolis; it's much much closer to work. And because of this, it had caused me not being able to access internet at home up until two days ago. I don't even know how it works, but anyhow, Indianapolis has two cable/ internet company (unlike power, water etc that can simply be transferred to a new place in town). At my new place, my previous cable/ internet company does not have services in this area. I've learned another company has won their auction years ago. Anyhow, they were so busy that they couldn't get to my apartment until, well, two days ago.

It's strange though; life without cable and internet ain't so bad (though I was a regular at Blockbuster.) It gets me to be out more (and the weather has been hell in the past weeks as well) and do other things more productive than sitting in front of square screens (computer, tv....)
