One of the most grateful moments in my lifetime

Last Sunday (Oct 7, 2007), HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited Bad Homburg's museum "Gotisches Haus" as it hosted an exhibition about the centennial visit of King Chulalongkorn's to Bad Homburg.

I was so fortunate to be able to capture some of the princess' pictures, because the nature of the visit is private and not many people were informed.

The princess was greeted by the mayor, Dr. Ursula Jungherr.

The director of museum led the Crown Princess to the exhibition.
As soon as the princess  arrived the exhibition area, she picked up her notebook and began taking notes.

The museum director, Ursula Stiehler, was telling the princess about Dr. von Noorden who treated King Chulalongkorn back then.

This section is about King Chulalongkorn's fond in photography.

Apparently, the princess also enjoyed taking pictures :D

The princess and the mayor.
The princess was wearing "Homburg Hut" which was named after this spa city.
King Chulalongkorn also wore it during his visit.

I have never thought that, in my life, I would have such an opportunity to take the pictures of her this close.

The princess was really interested in the exhibition.
She asked questions and took notes all the time.

The princess gave token of appreciation to the mayor

and the museum director.

I could not describe how grateful I was (and am) to have such a chance. All I could say is my eyes were full of tears (so much that I almost couldn't take the pictures).

Hope you are enjoying the photos,  like I do.
