Biz India is bol-blogs not blogging.

Please don't misunderstand me, my best friend in this whole world is an English guy who is of Indian descent. I love India, it is a crazy, overcrowded yet colourful and vibrant country.But what is it with this endless stream of Biz India blogs? They aren't blogs at all, they are merely a vehicle to pump out endless interminably long, cut and pasted trade promotion articles about Thai - Indian busin....

Tata Young has agreed to marry me!

Well, ok she hasn't! That was a lie, sorry. I already have a commitment to Beyonce so it wouldn't be possible anyway. :-)It's just that I saw Windy's blog about Tata shoot up the most viewed list like a rocket and it made me think. People are more likely to read blogs if they have attractive titles. Get people interested early, 'n all that.Someone once told me that the western news media won't pri....

Is Central World a phallic symbol?

I was on the Sky Train the other day, turning the corner from Rachadamri to Siam, when I was struck by a vision. The looming presence of Siam Paragon and Central World glowering across the tranquility of Lord Buddha’s temple at each other.Nigh on 800,000 square metres of shopping and leisure space. And with the exception of the restaurants and food courts, both centres always feel so empty when I vi....
