OK, the qualifying rounds are now all over. Only the strongest 8 teams remain in Euro 2008 and starting today, the real excitement will start. The next four days will see a festival of fantastic Quarter-Final football of that I am sure. No team will be able to sit back and play a half strength team. Each match will be a do or die encounter with the losers being eliminated, and for the winners, ....

I never thought that I would enjoy watching Euro 2008 so much. Because, after all, the England aren't in the competition and I always love to watch the lads in the major football championships either the World Cup or the European Championships. It’s a chance to dress up in my three lions shirt, go down to a packed out pub where everyone is your best friend even if you never met them before, drink ....
