Service in Thailand is great, interesting culture, beautiful architecture, fantastic food, really nice weather (particularly at this time of year) and of course lovely people.You will often see crusty old farangs like me talking and complaining about aspects of life in Thailand. | I received my three months training in the Thai language in London, shortly before coming to Thailand almost 5 years ago. My teacher was a lovely Thai gentleman called Nikom who had settled in London after his retirement (the Thai version of Ian, if you like)!Ajarn Nikom's approach to teaching Thai was to focus on studying written Thai first.
