I'm officially reporting myself back to the Nation weblog. In the past three weeks or so, I have been crazily busy at work. Of course not, I will not bore you of this part of my life.

This week marks my third week at my new place in town. I've moved to downtown Indianapolis; it's much much closer to work. And because of this, it had caused me not being able to access internet at home up until two days ago. I don't even know how it works, but anyhow, Indianapolis has two cable/ internet company (unlike power, water etc that can simply be transferred to a new place in town). At my new place, my previous cable/ internet company does not have services in this area. I've learned another company has won their auction years ago. Anyhow, they were so busy that they couldn't get to my apartment until, well, two days ago.

It's strange though; life without cable and internet ain't so bad (though I was a regular at Blockbuster.) It gets me to be out more (and the weather has been hell in the past weeks as well) and do other things more productive than sitting in front of square screens (computer, tv....)

good morning pond!

yeah... i know what you mean... you just sit on your ass and you hear

Chi Ching~! (sound of a slot machine)

but not in a pleasant way because it's the sound of money going OUT.

Some people associate the sound with smiles, but for me, it's always someone else making money from me.

Chi Ching~~!

Hi guys....my cost of living was pretty low in the past three weeks I had no cable, no internet. I didn't realize how much money I've spent to sit on my butt all day...

Pond: I don't have to move to be stripped of my cable and internet connection, as my neighborhood is so ultra modern... NOT!

Sometimes my internet goes out, and I don't even try calling the company coz I know they'll say something that'll only get my blood pressure up, and still no internet.

But I actually thank them for cutting off the connection... I never can do it myself.

Keep walking forward. Don't give up. Don't fed up.

Pond...welcome back again.
Indianapolis would be more fun cuz it'r near your work place (no need to drive as long as it used to be,^^)

Absolutely, mornitoring to see what's going on in socoiety may cause me lose some other aspects of life as well. But lose some, get some...Internet is a good source of learning,e-learning. ^^ My life has been without TV for a year, I dumped it in my freind's room. Watching television make me stuck in room almost day long!^^ but internet is different hehehe
