My Home Made Macaroni with Meat Balls and Carbonara Sauce

This weekend's special is Macaroni with Meat Balls and Carbonara Sauce.

Ingredients included are, a pack of Macaroni, bread crumbs, whipping cream milk, salt, pepper, parmesan cheese, origano, onions, shallots and one egg.

Of course minced pork and beef to make meat balls.

I use this brand.

Add salt and little bit of olive oil and boil for about 8 minutes or just until it's soft to eat.

Mix both minced pork and beef with onions and little bit of chopped garlic. Add pepper and salt.

Add bread crumbs and one egg and a few drops of olive oil. I decided not to add milk or water like before. Use hand to give it a good squeeze!

Roll them out into balls like this.

Fry them with medium heat.

Fry them until they are golden brown.

Set aside to drain out oil.

Nice and crispy!

To prepare sauce, fry chopped garlic, onions and shallots.

Fry until slightly brown.

Add whipping cream milk and a little bit of water. Add some salt, parmesan cheese and origano and keep stiring!

Once sauce is cooked, pour over macaroni and meat balls!

Unresistably DELICIOUS!

PART II : MACARONI WITH CARBONARA SAUCE  (JUST BACON)

Fry sliced bacon, chopped garlic and shallots.

Add whipping cream milk, permesan cheese, salt, pepper and origano.

Ready to serve. Pour sauce over cooked macaroni.

YUMMY!

This comes from a 12 piece frozen packet for Bht. 70 from supermarket. I just need to fry them up!

They are also called Japanese Potato Croquette.

Potato fillings with minced meat. Crispy and delicious.

ND, thats a great suggestion...Pan should for once prove her cooking skills..we will pay for the ingredients..First we must go back and debate which is our 4 all time favorite of Pan's dishes.

K. Pan!! Are you doing more blogmercials again??

It's OK now; christy has disappeared from the weblog recently. Now you can entice us with oyour recipes.

But it'd be better if youo invited all odf us to your house for a home-cooked meal to celebrate and have mango for dessert.

xena-many European meatball receipes mix both pork and beef. I did try mixing with water once and the meat inside turned out too soft, not crispy. Therefore this time around, it was perfect. You can use these meatballs and boil them with tomato sauce. Eat them with spaghetti instead.

Hmmmm, look like baby food to me...not sure if I will try it. But the meatball looks good but I still think you need some water in your meat mix. However, the moisture from the onion may have offset this.
I like to make my meatballs with some soft tofu. I have not tried mixing beef and pork...hmmm....

YB-That will be my new project soon! I have the receipe but I think it is so much easier to buy it! I bought this frozen pack from the supermarket for Bht. 70.- for 12 pieces! All I need to do is just fry them up!

Pan, my son will love your dishes this time. BTW, could you please show us how to make these Japanese Potato Croquette?
My son doesn´t like potato. He is a meat lover. Maybe he likes this croquette.
