My Very Own UDON-SOBA with Sliced Beef

Trying to get innovative for today's dish.....Udon Soba with fried sliced beef.

Ingredients inlcuds, 2 packs of udon noodles, sliced beef, onions, vegetables (I use pak kwan toong) and spring onions. Marinate sliced beef with seasame oil, salt and pepper. For seasoning, use the Japanese Barberque and White Seasame sauce, as shown in the background.

Heat up water and boil udon noodles for about 2 minutes.

Drain out the water and set aside.

Fry sliced onions for good smell.

Quickly add sliced beef and chopped garlic.

Add some Oyster sauce for sweetness.

Add vegetables.

Add cooked udons.

Add the Japanese BBQ sauce and this White Seasame sauce.

When almost cooked, add spring onions.

Dinner ready to serve!

Another heavenly delicious dinner of mine.

stalingrad-according to the Udon Wikipedia......Udon (饂飩 (うどん)?) is a type of thick wheat-flour noodle popular in Japanese cuisine.

This also means that I spelt UDON correct.

Therefore, Udon have no eggs....just plain flour. I bought mine from Siam Paragon supermarket or just any MALL branches, and it costs about Bht. 20.- for one pack. I prefer this brand, not because I am getting any advertising payment from them..... but I have tried other brands from the past and I find this the best. The noodles are just perfect for both frying or just with soup!

Udong and Soba is different. To learn them, next time try to order, Mori-Soba, then you will learn the difference :-)) Udong is correct reading.

I am enthusiastic about this dish too, as I like beef done in this way. But, you know, I hardly eat what are shown in your blogs, as I on a mission to get my waist line down to 32''.

So I am eating these dishes psychologically, by just looking and appreciating (and thus not get high cholesterol). When I am hungry I try to eat bananas, salads, dried fruits and the like. But your blogs are making my self-discipline crumble. 555
