Well, here I am, again, trying to start a blog on The Nation's website. I did this once under another pseudonym, but the account was deleted along with The Nation's old format blog interface. Fingers crossed, this one won't face the same fate! Recent readers of The Nation most likely won't remember me, but I worked at The Nation's incredibly down to earth editorial for four years before leaving for England to work on a research degree. While at The Nation, I focused on corruption, social issues, and general interest stories. I also wrote a few columns, including 'Wired Society', 'E-Shopping', 'Public Sphere', and 'Focus on Europe'. Despite international political economy theory being my main focus in life now, my interest in a wide range of issues continues. Most importantly, I'm looking to scratch that natural itch I have for journalism and writing in general (I'm sure you all have similar itches!). Hopefully, I'll be sharing these issues with you on The Nation's 'weblog' in the very near future. Coming up: - My Wimbledon Adventure series - Studying in England series - Focus on Europe series |
