Wondering..

Where is he?

How can our country reach this point.

How can we are discussing nonsense things ..

in the middle of nowhere..

Heading to no future..

.....

Until now..

No one appear to be the one..

And the madness still going on..

......

Where is he..?

Or may be She..!?!

Peacefulness: With all these requirements; would you think that you would be able to trust the system and allow the system to work? With all these His Majesty selected Senators and all these senate appointed judges; would you be able to accept any outcome that would be delivered by the judges no matter what it would be.

Do you think Gen Chamlong and Mr. Sondhi are doing us a favor by delivering us with cheap street justice? Never mind judges, never mind judicial system. These people think that they are so big and powerful that they can over rule any democratic outcome to their favor. Do you think it is safe to hand down to your children with the system we have today.

Pomjuk---may be u stay in us too long and americanized u totally mixed up with the thai judicial system, there is no house of lords in thai judicial system. fyi house of lords is the second house of the parliament of uk, commonly referred to as "The Lords" and also house of common(the lower house) referred to as "The Commons".

for the thai supreme court judge selection as flwg
QTE .1.1 Career Judge
Career judges are recruited by the Judicial Commission and are appointed by His Majesty the King. Besides having certain qualifications such as being of Thai nationality, passing the examination of the Thai Bar Association to become a Barrister-at-law, and having not less than two years working experience in legal professions, a candidate must pass a high competitive examination given by the Judicial Commission. Once the candidates are recruited, they have to be trained as judge - trainees for at least one year. Those candidates who complete the training with satisfactory result will be approved by the Judicial Commission and tendered to His Majesty the King for royal appointment to be a judge. A solemn declaration before His Majesty the King is also required before taking office as a judge.

Peacefulness: Nice picture, But in most countries the defendant’s guilty or innocent is to not be proven on the street. In most countries defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in the court of law.

If you have no trust in the justice system then your campaign should be directed as such. If you have questions about the Supreme Court judges make the complains to the House of Lords because who selected the judge.

We should be united under idea not individual. Some people may want us to disrespect the system, so that we loose trust in the system and then turn to an individual. We must first accept the fact that is there is no knight in a shying armor. Everyone is protecting his own position.

Thailand has always lacked unity, there are divides north and south, there are ethnic divides, there are wealth/poverty divides, there are religious divides. None of these are unique, they exist in England also, but in Thailand they are extreme.
Thais try to unite under the symbol of the King, it works to a limited extent, but is artificial rather than natural, and is a limited solution in a world which has moved on from Monarchies.

Remember they jailed protest leaders against the military government last year? Now they are on the other side organizing protest against democratically elected government, because they could not get their people in thru the democratic process.

May be because a number of us expect someone else to fix our own .
May be we should start fixing our own problem.
Or may be you are saying this because you feel helpless and powerless to fix our own problem.

Let me tell you what I think there is no such thing as being partly democratic.
Partly democratic is none democratic.
There is no such thing as partly respecting the law.
People are partially respecting the law are outlaws.

There is no way we can be a democratic state, if we allow people who loose the election to keep stirring the situation until they can get their people in without going thru the democratic election.

Lalida,

Don't mention the word porn. Vertigo, DKO and Earlsy will all be frothing at the mouth and saying how they are outraged, and how they would never ever let their minds drift to smutty thoughts.

Oh, Earlsy might also tell lots of tales about his nipper's shagging exploits....... with pride. Chip off the old.
