Hi all..

Sorry for not updating blog for a long while..
Been travel to SouthKorea Seoul City and JeJu Island..
Then back to Bk to work then have to hop to Hua-Hin
and Cha-Am the next two week.. And lots of work to clear out .. etc ..

About Seoul i think many people been there done that but JeJu
where i crash into the Ultimate Frisbee Gnarley Nine
(Yes 7 on the line...means 2 sub only in a team.)
The best grass field and best air for Ultimate i've ever played!
.. plus one and a half day travel around the self-governer-island-JeJu..
Here come some photo from 100-something in my cybershot T10 camera.

There're many stuff about foot ball here as the main stadium for world cup is here

I didnt' get inside the world cup stadium just took photo when the bus passed by
From far it's look interesting surrounded by shopping malls and restaurant

Here's the Hotel i stayed .. Sun Beach Hotel (Don't put of da in middle :p)

And yes.. to confirm again we step our feet in Jeju!

And get to play in the best grass field of Asia
The field was field for world cup practice.. weather is about 15-19 C perfecto

Nice color contrast for this two team
For more idea about how we play ultimate the offense side have to pass the disc
to your teamate without dropping it until end zone to score .
the defender have to grap it or make it drop for their turn
then will have chance to score too.
In the photo green boy (Team Pudding) got blog by the red team(HK)..
looking for chance to pass to someone.. the defender can come to count 1-10
(as 10 min stall count)

The lunch bok i had there at the field.. Yummy.. forget the name already :p

As my team in pull B first day we have to play in turf field.. not bad too..
Here's the official tournament disc i've got.. with my cleat

The idea of the disc is from the Papa Jeju Statue that you can see him everywehre around Jeju
Here's one infront of the hotel.. facing the road.. back side down is korea ocean..
Look like a kind old man i've met and drove me around the island.

The day after tournament everyone left the island but i stayed for travel around
one more night..Moved to a cheaper hostel nearby which have electric warm bed..
(but cold floor) and bicycle for borrow. All the way down hill i was just fine..
nice and easy.. but the way up was so hard and i will never suggest
anyone except super mountain bike rider to use bicycle around Jeju ..
Motor Bike or Jeep please..

Anyways i made it down hill to the fisherman port.. Lots of boats look a bit familiar to Thais
But different in somd details... People here seems so friendly even no english-speaker around

And this is my lunch .. 1,000 Won complete meal Maki with GimChi + Soup (33baht) with water!

Then i gave up about bicycle and returned it to the hostel manager...
Hrr..
Walk around the corner a bit then found the old men i mentioned..
Mr.Pak
he has kindda realestate company next to the hostel..
and he offer me drive with his jeep.. as he's the only person around
who can speak english a bit native Jejutian who really pround to present
what the Sok-wipo district have
Forget to tell Jeju is v.Big island with many districk
and Big Jeju City (Didn't vist yet) Sok-wipo is the district i stayed.

And when i jump into the Jeep he took me up to the moutain to a beautiful park with
all the scenery of Sok-wipo coast

And then to the OdaKe (Not sure how to call this place) Which is another coast

Nice view..

To see the dragon head rock

And bought the nice small orange
Jeju has orange tree around island and lots of orange garden too

They have a sign to show how far from ShangHai HonKong and BangKok!

Let's see how far i''ve come..

Then drove down and up to another side.. not so far.. i don't know how to call this place..
it's the rock that open into big hole by nature ...similar to some in Ko TaruTao here

and... Wow..

Drop by at the JeJu convention Center
Can count it as one of the best scenery convention center in Asia
Surrounded by the ocean.. moutains and yellow flowers field
from the front looks better but i didnt' get the best photo from outside

So i took some photo inside.. The day i visited there're no exhibition there
But still open for restaurant .. so i just use the toilet there.. luxery one :p
The sofa around balcony look nice and cozy .. perfect light shine on the grass table

Here's Mt. Halal paint above the convention door.. main room
I plan to hike Mt.Halal my next visit.. if possible.. need 9 hours and strong legs

After we head to see the field of Holland ship.. Get to know the story about how Korea
be metioned in the European's map.. (A dutch guy whose boat was sink
and lives here for long time then wrote about Korea)

And the nice field scenery.. sunset again pass my full day around Jeju

And will never forget this delicious local meal

Thankyou to..

Cho.. who gave me some good suggestion about visiting Korea

Craig.. the Tournament Director who organised amazing tourney

Dan.. The spirit captain who played on the fasting day!

JeJu papa .. who send a papa to take care of me

Mr. Pak.. who've been such good host of the island

You..

for reading until this line :-)

Are you in Tokyo now ?,
Then go to Ueno Gyo-En (Ueno park), northeast Tokyo, nearby Tokyo Univ. At the east gate, enter into the park, where you can find your cousins,
and,,,, in evening, the opposite to the gate is,
Thai town, where you can find local brownies and their feeds,

The 9th photo from the bottom,

She looks like an albatross, who just found her old nest.

Where did you fly from ?.

Naive: If I may, the content of the lunch box is:

Rice, Bulgogi (beef), Danmuji (the yellow thing), Kimchi, and Moo Kimchi(Red thing in foil).

And 'Maki' is Japanese... it's called 'Kimbap' in Korean.

------------
I'm glad you had good time in Korea! So, did you win any games?
