Numro uno, the one and only that started all cartoons on screen must surely reign supreme. . Born on November 18, 1928 upon the release of Steamboat Willie, the anthropomorphic mouse has evolved from being simply a character in animated cartoons and comic strips to become one of the most recognisable symbols in the world.
