Blooming flowers at Mae Fah Luang Garden

The long weekend last week was actually rather hot in Chiang Rai, the northernmost province of Thailand. It was much warmer that I could ever imagine as I heard so much how Chiang Rai was so cold before I arrived. The week before, it was reported that the temperature was lower than 10 celcius degree. So, I did not have to use my warm jacket as I had planned.

Visiting the Mae Fae Luang Garden on Doi Tung shows how Thais are so keen in visiting this part of the country at this time of the year. The place was packed full of smiley visitors who came to see blooming flowers. Who could resist not to take photos of these fresh dahlia. It is my first time to see dahlia in different shades and colours.

At first glance, they look as if 'pink sunflowers'.  

Or...Is this really a sunflower?

You can also enjoy pink and red roses at the garden.

I can't get enough of flowers at the garden and I wish I could know all their names.

The weather is very cold in winter and there are many flowers in Chiang Rai.
Mae Fah Luang Garden is on Doi Tung mountain . It's in Chiang Rai. It's a nice place for us to take a photo.
Last December, I went to Mae Fah Luang Garden with my family. It was 7-10 celcius degree. Doi Tung mountain was covered with fog. We could
see the sea of fog and the sun light in the morning . It's very beautiful. The
coffee at Doi Tung had a very good taste. It was the best time for us when we stayed there and drank coffee in the morning . After that, we walked around the Mae Fah Luang Garden and bought some flowers and seed. Somdejya's palace is in Mae Fah Luang Garden. It is made of wood. We could visit the palace. We were very happy.

Hi! I am a new member.When I readed about your story finish and I saw the pictures of

dahlia.I think it is very interesting for me because I search internet I found dahlia the common

name is called Garden dahlia and the name of scient is called Dahlia hybrid. I think the pictures

of flowers are beautiful .I agree with your friends the pictures have to eat and tast is yummy too.

In the last year I went to Doi Tung Chaing Rai , Suan Mae Fa Luang, The Doi Tung Palace: and I

saw it myself. In the garden have several kinds of flower such as roses,dahlia el.at you will see

beautiful views and colurful winter plants.Then I agree when I see the flowers you will fresh and

Suan Mae Fa Luang is a flower garden that blooms all years. I think when you see flowers it is

look like color of salad and I think it is good taste and yummy all right…...haha.

Mae Fah Luang Garden is in Chiang Rai, which is the northernmost province of Thailand. I have never gone to Chiang Rai. I think if I have opportunity , I will go to Chiang Rai by airplane. From my research, I have information about Mae Fah Luang Garden
is in front of Doi Tung palace. A measurement of land equal to 10 rai. Design of garden is chintz wrap-around skirt having a Thai design. Use red, white and purple salvia flowers that fresh, beautiful and very striking.
At center has continues molded figure which to make by Misiem Yipinsoi who workmanship. In addition, In the garden use the flowering plants, trees, bushes and climbers more than 70 types. The walkways proportion, sala for see view and the shop has sell remembrances by Mae Fah Luang foundation. Mae Fah Luang garden was built by tourism of Thailand for give to great mother of King 9 reign. Open for tourists to see every days since 6.00 am to 18.00 pm. The ticket is 20 baht for one person, that low price. If I have opportunity , I will go to Mae Fah Luang Garden sure which I fell very merit in my life.
Everybody who go to Mae Fah Luang Garden will receive good atmosphere, please in beautiful of nature with many flowers. I want to induce everybody who read this topic go to Mae Fah Luang Garden together.
