where are responsibilities

I have no ideas about how to contact those news staffs. A few days ago I saw the Thai Royal news. HRH Princess Sirindhorn went to Germany. The news reporter described everything quite nice. Well.. another channel as well. After finished reporting then they show her picture and Belgium flag. I would like to know who can you explain me about this? I'm really curious how (many times that) Thai TV especially Thai media could  fool Thai people and hide the truth. Excuse me! a lot of foreigners in Thailand can speak and response in Thai. And how could those media didn't repect other (German) by Belgium flag? You need other respect the Thai Royal Family but you didn't respect other. I really need those responsibilities for this. But I'm definitely know that you and other channels will not take this responsibility.

I think that Thai TV don't care that they will lose their own images. but they keep destroying themselves already with their (ugly) images.

Oh one more thing, since when that England become a country?
I saw the Game Show, from channel 3 which Neno, Metanee Buranasiri is the MC, asked about which countries and have choices also including flags. Again, Germany has Belgium flag and England is a country. I can't believe that people with bachelor degree or master can create the game with uneducated. ridiculous!

Sorry for my poor English just because I'm Thai without bachelor degree.

poomjai, the naval term became standard at the time of the American civil war to prevent confusion:-) This has since been reinforced by events in Ireland.

Ian,

Union Jack is actually slang - the correct term is Union Flag.

As you know, a 'Flag' can only be referred to as a 'Jack' if it is flown aboard a naval vessel...

Well I guess the average German doesn't even know where Thailand is, so I doubt if they are worried. I mean most people even the British don't realise that our flag is not symmetrical but has a top and bottom, I often see it upside down. I am not insulted I just find people's ignorance funny.

look at it from the brighter side.

if the German's had mistakenly hung 'Costa Rican' flag, which looks incredibly similar to Thai flag, for example, in an olympic medal ceremony.

how would the Thais react?

let's just be glad that the Germans are keeping quiet about all this.

England is indeed a country and its flag is the flag of Saint George, an upright red cross on a white background.
The British flag, the "Union Jack", is made by combining the flags of England, Wales and Scotland.
Most people make the mistake of calling it the English flag.
