The Thai tycoon millionaire and Dubai multi-national cooperation generosity to employ Thai farmers and rent their land at Thailand that influence the number one rice exporter. 

There are many rice stakeholders have claimed loudly voice, especially merchants. They said that farmer occupy was the root of Thai society which has absorbed the impact of Thailand economy crisis. However, farmer has stood on the vicious cycle of poor now day.

The most of farmers usually start their cultivation with debt. For example, a farmer goes to agriculture grocery store. He complained why the price of fertilize, pastiche, seed rose higher than the last year. It was possible for me to borrow all stuffs and paid back the next harvest season. The merchant said definitely sure, we were a family so long. He would give him a special price not too much.  A farmer submitted the due.

When a harvest season comes, he harvests his crop much than previous year. He goes to a rice mill for weight and moisture testing. The moisture rate indicates a rice price rate.  A rice mill will discount a weight over 15 moisture percents by the department of internal trade. There are many reasons of the vicious cycle of a poor farmer. Firstly , he urgently sells its rice because of no storehouse.  The price rice usually lows during the harvest season because of more rice suppliers and high moisture rates. Secondly, his revenue has ready paid at beginning of cultivation time. He must to pay his debt of seed , fertilize ,and pastiche.

The Dubai millionaire said the high risky and scarcity farmer life will be released. He would employ Thai farmers to do paddy farming and rent their lands 5,000 baht per month per rai through a year. He would pay other extra include fertilize, plasticize, gas, seed, etc.

This is a good new of Thai farmer. For example, a farmer owns 10 rai paddy fields. He will get 50,000 baht each month (600,000 baht each year). He becomes a millionaire at least 2 years. It is better due compare with buy lottery. Moreover, he will sell his lands even if he wants to retire and get more than a million baht. Dubai millionaire generosity solves a vicious cycle of poor farmer at one night. Why does Thailand government not think about it?

How many farmers and land would be employed and rented even if it was happened? There was definitely not much because they would use high technology cultivating such as tractor, harvesting machinery, transplant rice seedling machinery, etc.

How did it going with rice? There would be irritated Thailand rice market mechanism. Some rice stocks would be export directly which had impact to rice mills, Thai exporters ,and consumer. Beside effect to agriculture equipment merchants, the multi-national cooperation had powerful bargaining to due with them. It was possible to put a pressure of  market price because Thailand is the number one rice export.

In term of common resources concern, there are many common resources with this case, such as river, dam, and nature water resources. For example, the Sirikit Dam was established by the budget of Thailand government. It has enhanced the cultivating a million rai of paddy fields through a year at a plain of Nan river --- Utaradit, Sukothai, Phisanuluk, Pitcit,…---. Farmers have gotten free using water and low price rate of electricity fee to pump water to its fields.

Should Thailand government generosity to Dubai multi-national cooperation because they sell cheap gasoline for us?
