Searching my soul in Chicago..

I am Ally Mcbeal fan.So it felt quite excited to stay in Chicago for business.I love the high rise scenes when she walks along the city streets.I am also the Chicago band fan. Jubchai and namprik kapi--in Miami.

Garlic is essential to my kitchen, as well as shrimp paste. These are main ingredients for nam prik which could not translate well in English.So I won't try it. It is neither Chili dip nor Chili shrimp paste sauce.I am not an expert in doing that. But I guarantee mine taste comparably good.And I did it in Miami.My friend Penny loves cooking. Sleepless in Los Angeles

Four Days Sum Up

Musicman

When I am in Chiengmai, I love to spend time after dinner going to the music pub by the river Ping. The band there plays good music. I enjoy drinking before going home which takes only 10-15 minutes from Navarat Bridge.It is usually crowded. More foreigners than local people. Sitting by the river is priority for me in order to enjoy the blend of the music, the company and the scenery.I am now livin....

Castle is just castle..

I heard a lot about Himeji castle. The white clean colour combination attracted me.But my tummy was upset..So castle was just a castle..I climbed so highAnd lost all my energy....The weather was so deadly hotSoaked with sweat all over the body..At noon, the sun was not only shiningI felt burned....Water..water.. not everywhereI imagined for a pure clean drinkAnd a pooljust to refresh my faceand onl....

Yesterday I chose the wrong shoes!When I made mistakes, there was no one to blame except myself. So at the Asean Fashion Fair in Muangthong Thani last week, I selected the 20 inches long-lasting and lighter one with the waterproof material, light wheels and the better lock, discount 30% from the normal price.I was quite ready for the coming business trips.My assignment to one of the beautiful countries in Asia, --Japan started on Tuesd....

He dug this pond and had a japanese bridge built in Giverny.He chose to live in Giverny until his death. It took only an hour from Paris to Giverny, 80 kms same distance as Bangkok- Chacherngsao, so my friend fetched me on Thursday from Cambronne, Paris, after my missi....

One Sunday in the Summertime

Namprikpaoh

Moscow : The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour

Kram in russian means temple.On a clear morning in springtime, our group led by Khun Joy went to see the golden dome by Moscow river. In full term, this temple is called The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour.Although the original one was demolished by Stalin , it was rebuilt again in 199o's. Outside, it looks great. Inside at the right angle under the central dome, I raised my chin to the paintings ....

I just started drinking soda a few weeks before coming to Moscow. They say, drinking it helps releasing the air in your body and also detoxifying, which I think is partly effective for my body.Soda can be a pet name and a nickname for the Thai people.When a friend was named " Soda" like Mu soda or Tuii soda, it means that girl or guy is hot-tempered, and boiled at the highest degree alm....

Moscow in Spring

Now it's 5:07 am in Moscow. My eyes are already open because this is my usual time to work in Thailand - 8.08 am'..I arrived in Moscow yesterday evening. It did not take long for the Mother Nature to change the gloomy, dim city into a new one. Hotel costs are rising with the occupancies and the weather is quite nice.No wonder that the brown forest along the roadside from airport to downtown turne....

Cooling and heating..

Mangosteen is one of my favorite fruits. I can eat one or two kilo at a time.I was not a durian lover. .. not until I got involved in presenting Thailand at our solo show in many countries for the Department of Export Promotion especially in fruit promotion that I began to realize the richness of my home country in producing beautiful fruits.In Myanmar, I saw the yangon people including monks, lo....

My Mom, and My Gaeng Som

Gaeng means soup or curry.And Som means orange. (In this case Som comes from Som Makham, meaning dried tamarind used specially for cuisine.)Not quite a beautiful sound perhaps, but beautiful taste, if you like Thai soup.Some of my friends from abroad looked at Gaeng Som and hesitated to try it.
