The Nation Blog Admin are on holiday, have been fired, or are just lazy. They are not doing their job of deleting honeyreplica moratmorit csctruck They have even ignored Dalmasian's blog about these advertisers. Meanwhile, Yoon and Thanong continue posting without even noticing. PMs take days to reach their targets. "Most" sections are not updated. PITIF....

HAITI - A CONCISE HISTORY

The recent earthquakes and resulting deaths in Haiti have touched many hearts in the world. But many people do not even know where Haiti is, and even less its sad history. I have just seen a letter which appeared in yesterday's newspaper, which offers a brief insight into the exploitation the Haitians have suffered. So I thought it would make interesting reading as a background to the tragedy ....

PARENTAL TEACHING

I have always been led to believe that children's education is as much the responsibility of the parents as it is of the school or educational establishment which they attend. I have never believed it a role of the government, in so much as I do not believe that members of any government have objectives I would necessarily want foisted upon my family. NEW LIGHT ON LOCKERBIE

'Flaws' in key Lockerbie evidence An investigation by BBC's Newsnight has cast doubts on the key piece of evidence which convicted the Lockerbie bomber, Abdelbaset Ali al-Megrahi. HOLIDAY !! 2009 was a varied year, some good, some bad. I'm glad I joined The Nation blogsite, there are some good people here who have made the year more interesting and provided stimulating thinking at times too! As I'm away for a few days, I just wanted to wish EVERYONE (nearly) all the best in 2010, and may your wishes and dreams draw closer. HAPPY NEW YEAR TN BLOGGERS !! ~~~~~ ....

MOTORSHOW SNIPPETS

I spent a few hours wandering round the Motorshow at Impact Arena last weekend. There were LOTS of people there! For me, there wasn't much of interest. I find the currrent Japanese car models all rather the same in looks, few have differing features internally, and they are all much like driving a dinghy in a soup bowl on account of automatic transmission and spongy suspension. But there we....
