Thaksin: We shall meet again, but I don't know when

Thaksin Shinawatr was on the video link to the red-shirted protestors at the Royal Plaza just now. But the monologue was a repeat of his earlier statements. He asked: Have things improved in the three years since the coup? His answer was obvious: No, no and no.

The ex-premier's tone was more assertive than his previous video-linked speeches. But he offerened no new initiatives to strike the kind of national reconciliation he again expounded.

He said PM Abhisit Vejjajiva was on his way to the UN General Assembly, the same trip he took three years ago when he was ousted by the coup.

"I didn't think the UN General Assembly was important enough for the PM to have to be there in his first year in office. For me, I went only after I had been PM for four to five years...but PM Abhisit will be rushing there in his first year..." Thaksin said.

He ended the statement by calling for national unity which he said would be "the best medicine" for His Majesty the King.

Then he said: "We will meet again in Thailand...but I don't know when."

Khun Yoon:

I hope that Thaksin will get a good doctor to keep him alive to serve his jail terms along with his collaborating family members and civil officials.

This will serve to Change Thai culture and Thai history into a land that is rule by law and no one can be above the law.

ND, I think HA_HA makes a point that you should think about, namely that it is your constant attack on the reds that provokes their attacks on you and yours. See Newton's third law.
Is there no middle ground in your mindset?

c17, NOOOOOOOOOO MISTHEPOINT, i didn't mean to say you should relax. You should WORK HARDER, not here, but the THAI WEBS.

I would blame/praise that Sondhi Lim has worked to well to achieve such hyterical hate among the yellow that causes the other side to strike back with equal hate.

5_5, and you're trying to say what? Relax, settle down and start all over again. No one will try to take away your thunder. OK? Begin again.

You may have been on the Thai websites and you failed to see that on Wednesday, I posted that HMK would be going to Sririraj on Thursday to Sunday, but delayed his visit to hospital probably to avoid contracting the dreaded 'red disease'.

Now begin again. And this time take your time.

Khun lung peacefulness too.
For once i found the people who deserve your harsh words.
But I think you will feel sad. May be you should not see it at all.

Please take care.

HOLY SHIT

ND, this is more urgent for you. i just came back from the Thai websites. Even you blamed me for not being a loyal citizen to your HMK and HMQ i was really appal to see what they're posting right now after the news release of the health of the King. You will forget about Ajaran Giles or Jakrapop when you see them.

HMMMM c11, I see your point; Is that the same cycle that when the so-called yellows say something against your hero thaksin you and your pack have to jump in and make learned comments and neutral observations?

Good thing you picked that up! If not then we'd never know how how deep your loyalty towards thaksin, er, I mean concern for the poor disaffected was!!

Now we know that whatever is said negatively against thaksin you will always have a reson to say its only that thenppoor need better conditions. What's the correlation between thaksin and conditions of the poor.

Your trying to sow propaganda that thaksin is the hero of the disacffeted is a major distortion of the truth.

yes 5-5 all of 20,000 people faced the down pour aganst 100,000 advertised by the reds' leaders. That's called an ED.

If you just took the time you will have learnt that, the topic concerned thaksin's remarks that tried to discredit AV for going to the UN in his first year in office. The point is, I just responded to it.

Of course they had to do it in peace because their Black Songkran was anything but. And they lost a lot of credibility. So they needed to show that they can hide their animalistic nature But let's see what emerges in October.

The devil's advocate is standing tall for the underdogs by giving his neutral opinions. We; done! We should have said what a marvellous peaceful protest that the reds were finally able to pull off. That's one for the disaffected (thaksin).

c8, i don't think Obama is greater than Thaksin. He too is a dream seller. And the other American fever.

Anyway, now that the power is yours, the OLD power and AV, let's do something to win the people back. The poor just want to live better, that's all. Can you do that? Or you guys will use the world economy crisis as anothe excuse to your failure?

I think I can see some cycle here :

when a Yellow post something against Thaksin the pack will come to support with sarcasm. When a Yellow post something good about Thaksin, for example Thaksin gives 6,000 scholarship through Thaicom Foundation. The pack will come to say it's Thaksin another vicious plan to win the support of the naive.

They think they're the only one who are right and smart.

Mr. Yoon & ND

I think AV will go to UN or not is not the point. The point is how many people there in the heavy downpour. That mean how many are agaist the present psuedo democracy in Thailand. And the point that the people did this in peace.

But I know you guys. You have to try to find fualt as much as you can, jing mai?

'Thaksin fever, the man-made commotion' will reducef gradually and disappear at the end'.
I had written this and now I dont feel to repeat it again.

Khun Thaksin need long meditation.
He can not penetrate in the refreshed unity betwen the elite class and the middle class.
The middle class was formed and emerged powerful by Industrialization initivate of gen Prem.
(Thaksin himself is the beneficiary of this).

The red must also take long meditation. They must reborn as a civil movement to address all the corrupted parts that are hidden by the elite class.

This is real democratization process.
Present Guided democracy system must be reviewed.

Ian C7 . I believe my comment deserves more than no substance. I confess that the yellows lost the moral high ground, but for Mr T to make the claims he made is beyound reality, who does he thank he is Obama

Mr. T stated he could fix all Thai problems in
6 months, Since the economic problems or cause by a global melt down from over consumption. Has he lost the sense of reality, and is he delusional. Would he be able to get the entire world governments to corropate with his plans.

In February, 2009 he jumped bail and left his teaching post at Chulalongkorn University for Britain, claiming that he is not a Thai, but a half Chinese half British.

I am not sure if Thaksin is a liar or just stupid or only jealous.
Or everything together?

As usual for thaksin the serial liar and his gang of red gang bangers - just another case of half truths and true lies.

AV had to go in his first year as PM because he is the president of ASEAN this year and he is representing not only Thailand but all of ASEAN.

It's so easy to distort and twist the truth when you are insincere. We will surely see thaksin again when he returns to fulfill his conviction. may it be soon; we miss him so much!!
