Your generosity is rare in Thailand. Prehaps some of the greedy policitians that seek to serve their on self
interest will be shamed into repenting of their selfish
ways and start actually severing the public because of you example. I say this with all sincerity and hope and love for my adopted country

Correcting my typos in a previous comment:

(1) "polotically" should be "political party".

(2) "MUST NOW" should be "MUST NOT".

Dalmasian, what I don't understand is why a community cannot understand the logic of pooling their money in order to buy in bulk. They seem to have absolutely no grasp of basic arithmetic, and this includes my gf

Joking aside, this re-writing of the Cnstitution by the crooked PPP gang is potentially going to be the last straw that will break the camel's back. No one individual or polotically can be or should be allowed to re-write a country's Constitution based soledly on their own whims and caprice. It is simply UNACCEPTABLE, by any measure of imagination, and the people of Thailand MUST NOW allow it to happen, at all costs.

I hope the King will come out to express His opinion on this grave matter, if he really cares about the country and the people. The situation in the country has reached a point where his extraordinary intervention is required.

P.S. Ian, I won't tell Immigration Division that you are selling rice at a profit. It;s your gf. Right, mate?

massein, naturally I am making no profit, the 1 baht covers the delivery costs. My aim is to help the poorest people in my village stay alive.

My mother-in-law is a capitalist rice dealer and I am a communist rice farmer.

She always buys a kilogram rice at 5 baht and sell at 5 baht. However I bucket it to my neighbor saying whey you have it, return it.

We fight always blaming on the stupidity of each.
She has many female friends,
I have many male friends in our village, and
two groups fight always.

I am buying rice in bulk at 23 baht per kilo and selling it to the villagers at 24 baht per kilo. In the local stores it is selling between 30 and 40 baht per kilo. Some people are profitting from this situation.

"Let them eat cake." Is a phrase attributed to Marie-Antoinette(1753-99) of France, when told there was no bread to eat. The real story is more complex but the phrase suits the story.
