Ambassadors debate Burma crisis tonight on Channel 9

Chinese ambassador Zhang Jiu Huan: "We should let the Burmese people decide their own fate..."

US Ambassador Ralph Boyce: "...but if the Burmese people don't have the right to speak out, how can they decide their own fate?"

This is but a small exchange in tonight's news show on Channel 9 on the Burma crisis.

Don't miss tonight's "Cheepajonloke (World Beat) with Suthichai Yoon" on the ongoing Burma situation.

With me and Veenarat in the programme will be a student leader, a Buddhist monk, a dissident politician, and a magazine editor, all Burmese.

Ambassadors from China (Zhang Jiu Huan), Great Britain (Quinton Quayle)  and the US (Ralph Boyce) will also be joining me in debating the consequences of the largest protest against the military leaders in 20 years -- and the subsequent brutal crackdown.

Please stop to play politic and economic game with Burma. Burmese people were so long suffering more than 4 century.

Every one knew that inside all Burmese people was don't have chance to talk right and wrong discuss event each others freely and couldn't get speak out. How can be Burmese people decide their own fate to Junta?
Why problem is more and more in there ? Junta don’t respective to people and don’t wish to listen people real voice.

Please Action is louder than words. UNSC must stop junta as soon as possible and immediately established democrat.
Otherwise, which we foreseen civil war in Burma couldn’t stop by any one.
