GREEN TARA [Sanskrit: Syamatara],Mudra [posture]: vitarka (argument) & varad (charity) mudra,Symbol: Blue lotus [utpala].Tibetan Lamaism considers Green Tara to be the original Tara. In fact, the Tibetan name for the goddess is do-ngon, which means 'the original Tara' but ngon, original has sometime been interpreted by some Lama with sngo, meaning 'green', and the epithet 'green' has become insep....

The Shanti Tara Maha Stupa for Peace and Harmony

I’m really pleased to inform you about a Nobel issue of establishment of "The Shanti Tara Maha Stupa for Peace and Harmony" at the Tara Khadiravana of the Auspicious Aeon, Hua Hin - Pala-u Road, Nongplub, Hua Hin District, Prachuab Khiri Khan, Thailand. Its an recently proposed plan and seeking for help and co-ordination to all the people, organizations and foundations to join hands togethe....

Hand mundra in Tibetan Arts

So before i post information of Buddha and Bodhisatwas here( as for Sharing art from Nepal tibet). I would like to intruduce you first with the hand gestures of Meditation Buddhas. Here i am going to give Some Information about hand gestures ....
