My BD with the world oldest passenger ship

.....Last week my company offered a day off for my birthday celebration. Actually I had no idea what to do. Most of my friends had to work cuz it’s not weekend. But that night, reading the forwarded e-mail from my manager made me quickly start a plan to visit the world oldest active passenger ship, MV DOULOS, well known as the worldwide biggest floating library, visiting Thailand during July 30th – ....

Winter and the mountain!

“I’m on bus now, tomorrow, sure we’re gonna rock the mountain!” talked to my friend on phone, and I opened my MP3 music player, enjoying my music and preparing to sleep on the air- conditioned bus-Muang Loei-Bangkok rout. The next day, we were planning to go camping at Phurua national park, where now the weather is considered cold for Thais. That night my friends already prepared camping things, che....

What to do this weekend? BKK Inter-food fest going?

After arrived Prompong Skytrain station, I finally was at Bangkok International Food Festival at Bejasiri Park, launched by City of Bangkok cooperated with Thai Restaurant Association aimed to boost Bangkok tourism helps increase reveler influx. KK night life, the last picture blog from KK.\\(T^T)//

woo!!! I GRADUATED

Yesterday was the last day of this semester, which means, the last day of my life in university. Time really flies fast!-------Last month, pile textbooks were the only things that I and my friends saw and be with everyday and night. A short trip to the Suan Pakkad Palace Museum, BKK (finale)

In the afternoon of the day, I enjoyed various items in the museum. Besides of Thai houses, Ban Chieng artifacts and ancient sculptures I posted in my last blogs, there was Prince Paribatra Music room, where over a hundred aged Thai instruments displayed. Above was Glaw-ng Chatri, a kind of Thai drum. Its poor skin could imply us how old it was. And below is slide of various Thai instruments rar....

The Suan Pakkad Palace Museum or Wang Suan Pakkad, the area used to be Chinese cabbage plantation. Wang means palace, and Pakkad refers to Chainese cabbage in Thai. Besides Thai houses I sad in last blog, exactly, there are some pre hisstoric and historic artifacts shown in glass cabinet at Ban Chieng Articrafts. Some displayed on the glass shelves that you can look at it as much close as you can. Th....

Only two minutes walking from BTS- Phaya Thai station, with my big back page from Khon Kaen, finally I arrived at the Suan Pakkad Palace Museum, this trip destination at late morning. My tiredness ran out after I took a deep breath while strolling along the way leading to the center of the museum where my friends waiting.Surprisingly, the museum surrounding was green and made me feel fresh as if I wa....

Earth cottage at Kaengkhro,Chaiyaphum

Krangkhro district, Chaiyaphum, one of an important area of I-san, where once I heard that there was earth cottage called in Thai “Baan Din”- the handmade house constructed by clay and reduce hot air of interior of the house, so that no need air conditioner, save energy and indirectly reduce global warming. So I was not hesitated when I had a chance to visit Kaengkhro, Chaiyaphum. And after arrived ....

The LOY KRATHONG DAY and NINJA \\(^_^)//

24, Nov was very busy day foe me, as I had planed to enjoy the festival in my final year. Had to check my club booth, to check the parade schedule, buy new batteries and blah blah…..Around 5 p.m. hundreds of people gathered at the Srithan gate, the entrance of the university waiting to enjoy the processionThe highlight of the fest was the parade thousand of students joined.Also, specially, this year,....

The sun rises adn sets at Nam Nao, the national park(UPDATE)

I was waked up with sense of cold water dropped on my face and the sound of somebody singing annoying song near my new resident, at least a night.^^The two of my friends sharing the same tent last night were still sleeping. It was 5.12 a.m., I glanced at my wristwatch. Suddenly, my consciousness got back with remembers that the park officer said 5.30 a.m. was the most remarkable time of sun rises. I....

A cold night camping at NAMNAO, the national park (1)

When middle of October arrived, the north east of Thailand would get colder. It is Thailand winter season, Oct to early Feb. Beside of the north, there are some north east famous national parks people die for visiting such as Phurua and PhuKradung in Loei and other areas of the region partly get colder. I’ve already been to the two parks mentioned, so this year I and my friends planned going campi....

FRESHEN UP>>HERE

Last week I went to Nakhon Nayok Wang Takrai the park, 3 hours from Bangkok. Before arriving there, I didn’t expect to see anything cheer me up, but surprisingly, many fantastic scenes of green forest there made me became freshen up.We arrived at evening (4.30 p.m.) that meant everyone had to wait until next day to benefit its life by plunging down the park. I could only walk around my resident.Early....
