Gorgeous voice no need to show off??

After the final performance of Beijing opening ceremony was ended, I believed everyone said it was so spectaculars and incredible. Though I was not at the stadium and could watch it from TV and Internet only, I thought I was so exotic much more than I expected. But last hour, I was so disappointed after reading a new about fake that the Chinese government concealed in the ceremony of the most important sport event of humankind. ' ' A little girl in red dress looked so gorgeous singing the song “Ode to the Motherland” in the Beijing Olympic opening ceremony is not the real singer. She did lip-sync!!! What the heck!! Why? She could be so much fabulous performer by her beautiful voice. She should be honored and praised more than left behind, right? I questioned Chinese from here, my room. Also, another girl, (the gorgeous) is now sympathy. To world, it seems that she stole master peace work from her friend. It’s not her fault at all. She is just an innocent. What if the music director didn’t dare to reveal the truth…? The government would tell us the truth? Image is better than anything else? No chance for a girl like her?

emily, this is an example to compare with other fake news. I am sorry to make you feel uncomfortable, because these days I read many negative news regarding beijing olympic games. western journalists are nit picker, they call everything faked, those guys like criticising everything from China. I think chinese are honest, To do this is just to show the best voice and the best appearance to the world.

Pasa, I feel you shouldn't be too sensitive on this kind of thing. Everybody wants to look good, after all.

I don't think the kids would look otherwise if people don't make a fuss out of it by saying it as negative. How about saying something like: combining the best to make people feel the best for an event like this which carries no political tune?

Mamasan, I stink the fake firework from the internet too….Don’t have idea that it’s true or not. If they can do it really, I mean artificial firework, they should be proud of it and say it to world. No need to keep it secret.

Communist has its good side, I believe. And Lip sync is not sin, but fake is. Everybody sometimes lies, me too. But this time I jus think that it’s too much. It’s like they had ruined the pure and innocent children for nonsense. The little girl can look more gorgeous by her voice and the whole world would be under her spell long last more than this. After this, they both are growing up and would have a deep root of inferiority complex.

Pan, this the first time I heard about the singer’s name. I follow up in Yuotube.com and it was such a terrible one. Anyhow, they got punishment already, I thought. Those days that they were living with fake was not happy at all, I assumed.

PN-The truth always hurts, just like the famous dou "MIlly Vanilli" who sang "Girl you know it's true..." were actually fake singers. They had to return the grammies they've recieved earlier too. This happened many years ago and their fans were so shocked to know the truth. Looks always sell better than actual talent in many scenerios in life.

As I told Pan before, everything is "for show" in communist countries like China, Russia, North Korea, etc. Do you realize even some parts of the fireworks shown on TV were inserted digitally to enhance their effects? Also, many of the unfinished buildings in and around Beijing were covered up with facades that "fake" their completion?

And now, it has been revealed that the young women who applied to become "ushers" to lead the individual country sports team had to strip naked for body measurements just to pre-qualify? I am sure more of these stupidities of the communists in China will come out of the woodworks pretty soon.

I would like to see both Piset and Peacefulness come out and defend these actions by their favorite communist government. Sure enough, they were all done under the "wise" advice and guidance of their so-called Great Helmsman MZD.
