Supper rookie….Love and Hatred.

“Time really travels fast,” sitting alone at the balcony at this late night, I murmured.

“So what’s wrong with it?” a friend of mine asked me a few months ago when we were nearly arrive the final day of the university time.

Nahh… nothing to blame the time, I am always be what I am though the years passed. Only one thing that can be changed is not my spirit but society role indeed.  Two months ago, trying to find a proper job, I did some interviews with managers with aim to learn and meet a cool position. Some pleased to hire me for their vacancies. But I couldn’t have one of those. The problem was that I try to find the best but “I don’t know what the best for my life is”

“Only keep looking, how can you know if it is good or not. Just do it. Get a job,” said my mom. And I think so. I never know the street if I don’t walk it. If it is too scary, I can walk out.

At the moment, I have been working for the company for 45 days. Life is so much different from the past.  Wake up (early) at 6 a.m. shower and make up quickly. Then grab the bus rail, get on the sky train and walk or sometimes run to the office. I am not familiar with this city life. And like a customer service staff, I have to be disciplined and try to make myself beautiful as much as I can.  It is rather strange life for a street girl like me. If I could change the past, I would dismiss this job! (wish my boss don’t know this blogsite hehehe  (^^)

And the first salary in my life? I should shout “woo”, right?  Nahh…..it was cut 1/3 of the total amount! Some amount for social security and another big money for my position guarantee because my work also involves with the company’s money. It will be last for three months. T^T So first salary was not impressed me at all.  A Trainee like me started thinking about getting a new job.

“How is my work?” I last month asked my manager.

“What do you think?” she smiled as usually and questioned back.

“I don’t know…what if I’d like to move another department,” barely able to continue this game, I replied her.

“I shouldn’t let smart staff out of my hands, right?” smiled her.

What a clever administrator! I knocked down, yet smiled as the complement even though I knew it’s not true….hehehehe…  shame on me!

Anyhow, during the unfamiliar atmosphere of work, I find its bright side. My colleges which are quite older than me are friendly and helpful. Though I don’t like the job, every day I always laugh and smile with them during the office hour.

“You know, to dismiss the job before covering the training period is bad for you. The next companies you apply to may think that you’re never tolerate and discard you. Don’t be childish. Go on your work,” someone who loves me (I assume) suggested.^^

“Big girl don’t cry……but try to strengthen herself,” I thought. So I decided to continue my work until the four months of training period are run out. It’s not really bad. And three months after this, I may like this job and stop thinking to send my resume to other firms, I hope ^^ that is what’s happened to my life….share with you all.

By the way…..Good night! Tomorrow is my day off. See you all around.

LLD, hehehe.....nice suggestion! you know, once my eyes are bigger as I envy some people whose salary is much big amount such as engineer, doctor, flight attendant..etc. I even thought "I wish I had learnt engineer or doctor" But now I realised..to do what I appriciate is better. I can live happily without such big money.

Ninja,

There's a saying " If you want to be happy and enjoy your job you must first like your job, if not, no matter how much they pay you, you won't be there for long." So be patient, look for one that you like most while at your present work.

5o Cents>> 50 Stangs>>> 50 Naira……cool! ^^

For the short question, GG, you know, I question myself everyday but I don’t know what exactly answer is. That‘s problem…ehehe…..

But now, at least I am sure that I like outdoor work; organizer, creative description writer, and….hmmm…some thing like that. I think Pico, the company is great but they accept only applicants who have the exact experiences relating to their works. That’s out of my reach!

Emily: Naira is the Nigerian Currency. 1 Baht is about 3 Naira.

In America, when they give you an advise, and they say, 'That's my 50 Cents.'

In Thailand, you can say, 'That's my 50 Satang.' (P Veen likes to say that.)

GG, everything I do, I do my best. Now I am not trouble for my work and colleges. I love them and I assume they like me too. hehehe……
But after the training time passed, I just think that the work I am doing doesn’t suit me. It is the work that I don’t like. So I think it’d better to stop.
But because of love from the colleges and senior that make me hesitate. I hope the next three months I would change my thought and continue the work. By the way GG, what does Naira mean?

Wch…those things you mentioned go well. Actually I like to talk with female rather than male. (But it doesn’t mean I hate men na ) Those old colleges, senior and the manager are lovely. My manager is so amicable and clever. The senior, she likes to raise controversial and ethic issues or all little constructive things to discuss with me when we’re out of work during the day. I like them all. You know, I’ve just realized that I like talking with people older than me. Am I strange?

Ninja: Let me drop my 50 Naira.

It's not WHAT you do, that matters.

What matters is, HOW you do it.

As one of the elder and some experience in the corporate culture of Thailand,

The most impressive graduate, now a trainee is, ones who attentively try to learn own assignment, often with academic sense but amicable manner with collegues and the seniors.

Especially a female staff in an office, is the center that often makes the office in warm and bright environment.

This is very important to make a start and next career travel.
Good Luck,
wch
