Loy Kratong Festival in Sydney, Australia

The Loy Kratong festival in Sydney on 15Nov08, brought back all my wonderful memories of Thailand. Even though i am not a Thai, I will always cherish Thai culture , the land and the inner beauty of Thai people and I will always be proud for that.I spent most of my Loy Kratong festivals time in Sriracha ( at Koh Loy area) ,Cholbury province when I was Thailand, I remember that me and all my close ....

Return from Ayarwaddy Delta Region-Bogalay

I was volunteering as a consultant for the one of aid agencies there..Thank you all for all of your prayers and kind words.Our agency provide primary health care and NFI ( non food item ) distributioin in Bogalay township area. I was embedded with entire team....

Letter to The Nations blog community from a Burmese

After running around in foreign land, sitting here and writing out my though and emotional pain about Burma in The Nation's blog for a while, it is now that i do not want to take any more of this suffering.So I've decided to go back to volunteer in Burma for a month or longer.Even I live at thousands miles away and i felt so terrible about this disaster, one can imagine how the victims in Burma w....

The World Can Wait, But Burma Cant Wait

What is happening in Burma is the ugliest disaster relief works in human history. What’s wrong with Burma and with the world? It has been 25 days since one of the worst disasters in Asia history has happened in Burma.But nobody knows exact figure of the affect and the scale of actual damages in cyclone hit area in Burma. Not any organization, governments, NGOs, or even UN couldn’t come up with us....

What is happening in Burma is the ugliest disaster relief works in human history. What’s wrong with Burma and with the world? UN, SHAME ON YOU! Children are starving to death!

It has been more than 2 weeks by now that Cyclone Nagris hit in Burma.News from CNN read "Thousands of children in Myanmar will starve to death in two to three weeks unless food is rushed to them"http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/asiapcf/05/18/myanmar.ap/index.html?iref=topnews This is not a natural disaster anymore. This is man made catastrophe, inhumane negligence, mass murder and crime again....

A letter to God from cyclone refugees of Burma.

Dear God,If you are out there, please hear us, see us and save us. I know you are out there.I am writing this on behalf of all the suffering and dying disaster victims in Burma as my heart and soul are together with them right now.It has been 10 days since the devastated cyclone hit to our area and make our lives like a living hell. we are still waiting for you to allow people to come and save us. B....

Burma Gen Than Shwe to be tried at Universal Criminal Tribunal

Massive Genocide in Burma
