The "Internal Affairs" cork

We have Mrs Suu Kyi at Insane hoping not to go insane with the generals’ nonsense with the latest charges of “breach of house detention for harboring” Mr Yettaw, the intruder.

Harboring as in protecting, sheltering a person. The Burmese officials keep ignoring that the man intruded into her premises and “refused” to leave; he left when it was convenient to him to “swim” away from the house, if that was the arrangement with whoever hired him to create this situation.

I say arrangement as it does not get into my head that a psychology student did not realize the dangers he was putting Mr Suu Kyi with “his” plan, and he is not a fool, he knew well what he has done.

Mr Yettaw also a former Vietnam soldier knows well the restrictions on house detentions and also on restricted areas, soldiers are trained and zone restrictions are practiced all over the world exactly in the same way, “no go zone”.

For an asthmatic swimmer and a foreigner he was very familiar with the area as he landed right on target, well let’s give him credit, he is an ex soldier after all, he knows how to read maps, amazingly accurately.

He brought with him a Mormon bible and some Muslim pieces for Mrs Suu Kyi, also amazingly these items did not get wet during his arduous swim, what am I to think with all these facts? Let’s call it evidence now as these items are “evidence of the prosecution” on Mrs Suu Kyi.

And finally, Mrs Suu Kyi’s while serving her detention was to be under high security by the Burmese authorities. An intruder committed breach of entry going through the government security, undetected. This case should have not been heard by the judge at all as there is no case, quite the opposite, someone was not doing his/her required job, but the circumstances fit perfectly to Than Shwe’s election purposes and Mrs Suu Kyi is to be kept out of the way as she is a “negative element” to his sanity.

Now Thailand chairing Asean make an announcement indicating that the generals’ “honor and credibility” is at stake... what is wrong with that statement? It is true the generals are acting insensibly towards Mrs Suu Kyi, but the response from the super sensitive Burmese Regime is “Thailand is meddling in Burma’s Internal Affairs…”.. cork it mate, Thais sour grapes are staining the generals’ outfits… ooops.

Ok… Asean is to support each and every member of the group. All the other members are behaving with their representations and commitments to develop their countries into democracy, economy etc. However, what has Burma been doing so far?

The Burmese generals have been throwing manure to the association and the generals expect the group to accept it nice and quietly.

Burma Generals are stamping and stomping on the Asean Association and the members are to continue supporting their criminality.

Will the Asean paper tigers take life for once to become respectable and credible within the region and the world? Let’s see and watch, we know what the generals will do, they are predictable but we do not know what Asean will become if they “support” the Burmese “Internal Affairs” inhumanities.
