I want to be SINGLE!!!

I would give anything to be single. I would sell my soul if by doing so, I can be single. I would lick every toilet in the world and clean every pair of Imelda's shoes if that will make me a single.

Aren't I afraid Mrs. GG will kill me when she reads this post? So WHAT?! I want to be single and I don't care if Mrs. GG or even my mother in law reads this post, because I WANT TO BE SINGLE!!!

Oh, just in case you didn't know, I'm talking about SINGLE as in golf term, used to describe a golfer whose handicap is a single digit. (9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1, then PRO)

If you are a SINGLE, it means you are VERY GOOD. Now my handicap is around 15 or so, but it is my life goal to bring it down to single digit.

I just love golf...

Yeah... there were times when I thought if I got married, my wife would pick out the clothes I will wear for the day and hang it by the closet in the morning for me to wear, or pick out my tie when we go to weddings or events.

And I dreamed that there will be warm meal on the table when I got home from work, with my wife welcoming me from the kitchen, wearing nothing but apron, and we'd have hot sex next to the stove.

But I quickly learned that it's nothing like that. -_-,

Yesterday, I went golfing... Shot almost 100. (97)

Some days, I shoot low 80, and some days, I go way off the chart...

But my excuse for poor score yesterday is that I teed off from the 'pro tee', which makes the game so much more difficult. But still... I could have done better.

This game can make you so happy, but it can also break your heart...

Narci: Really? That's pretty good... I met a Norwegian people on the course few months ago. Father and 2 kids. The younger one was only 11 years old, and the older one was about 17. Played damn good, those kids... make me so embarrassed. The father was beeming with pride... as he should be.

Forgot their names though...

Pat: What's all that got to do with being single or not? I'm married, but I still buy my own tooth paste, AND her toothpaste, unpack my food AND her food, pick my own clothes from the closet AND hers!!

You should pick up your clubs again, my friend. When you are single, GOLF is your best friend!!

I have a saying, which explains why I'm not a single handicap golfer:

"I suck at golf because I started playing golf too late, and to make it worse, I got married too early."

GGrass...for a moment I was about to say to you that what you were wishing for (in your first two paragraphs) might not be what you really want. You'd have to shop for your own tooth paste,unpack food you bought from the super market yourself (but before that you'd have to choose what to eat) the list is endless...oh you'd even have to match your necktie to your trousers every morning!

Hey if it's that illusive game you're talking about...I once joined a club called the ISO100 = I score over 100. I've given up on it totally. It's too complicated for me

a very meditative sport, especially if played alone.....but.....I wish I was single every time I see a nice looking girl, far more so, than every time i see a golf course.
