Siang dang jang loy! (So noisy!)

Now that I'm back to my usual 'luxury', so to speak, I really have hard time getting my lazy ass up and sit in front of the computer desk, loading pictures and stuff...

I'm endulging myself in PS2, UBC, and endless choices of microwave foods.

And I'm enjoying the bright side of the city life... the shopping malls and supermarkets...

I went to Central Chidlom today and ate MOS burger. I mean, that's not something interesting to talk about on the blog, but I just wanted to mention how good it was... MOS burger has become my wife and kid's new favorite junk food. My kid likes the butterfly fried shrimp and MOS cheeseburger, while my favorite is the chilli dog...

My wife likes just about everything on the memu!

The food was good, and the service was friendly. My kids were cooperating nicely, so we could eat in relatively peaceful condition.

But there was a small blemish to otherwise perfect dining... (Which brings me to talk about the real reason why I'm writing this blog. To rant about a couple of rude people.)

2 Thai women were sitting across our table, reading some papers. From the looks of it, they had been sitting there for quite some time... and from the looks of it, they didn't seem like the 'nice' type either.

To our right, was a Japanese couple who had one daughter, about 1 year old. And to our left, a Thai couple came with a baby, about 6 months old...

Everything was alright, until the little Japanese girl started to cry for some reason. And that started a chain reaction of cries from my baby son, and the other Thai couple's baby also.

So it got a bit noisy, as the babies were crying and each parents were trying to hush their babies accordingly.

And then, one of the two women put down her paper annoyingly, looked up with nasty facial expression, and spoke out aloud,

"Siang dang jang loy!" (So noisy!)

I don't know if anyone else heard that, but I was VERY pissed at her! I mean, how rude of her to say out loud like that? How insonsiderate! I really wanted to go over and slap her across the face, but seeing that they looked like they probably didn't have enough education back home when they were young, so I just let them off the hook.

But I had to let off some of the steam, so here I am... letting off some steam. They probably don't have kids of their own, so they probably wouldn't be able to sympathize with people with little kids.

I feel a lot better now.

Sorry about the bitching. I'll load the pics at my office when I goto work tomorrow.

Ah... I'm going back to work tomorrow.... now that sucks....

Panda: I meant 'uneducated' as in 'no family education', not as in school education....

Of course, they don't teach that in schools... only family education teaches you that...

And you're right... they'll know once they have their own kids.

7: Yeah, they smell so good, don't they? HMMMM... Ahhhh......

GG, not only uneducated people would do that, educated people too

I guess they will not realize they are being an ass until becoming a mother.

GGrass jar. Hello Sir! You are writing thai in a western blog-forum, please explain.
I want to know what 'jang loy' means, he he.

Is it enough to shout 'siang dang'? Can you say 'siang dang jang'?

Am I being a smart-ass-jang-loy?

Anyway I myself no like siang dang.

Last night I borrowed a 4 month old girl for a couple of hours, can somebody tell me why small babies smell so wonderful?
