Discipline and stability are a must for Every country. It is what we have been taught. I don't know whether you agree with it or not. Personally, I think every class struggle is a political struggle, but it must be carried out within the framework of the law. If the struggle becomes armed struggle, it would lead to ideological confusion and political instability and even a potentially catastrophic situation. No matter which party is in power, the prerequisite should be abiding by the social rules to ensure the stability of its society. Any activity sabotaging stability and unity and any unlawful deed creating disturbance and inciting riots runs against the basic interests of the subjects will be cracked down on relentlessly. I watched TV, through which I saw the tumultuous crowds and upheavals. I have lived in Thailand for 5 years and appreciate the unity, happiness and calmness of Thai people. Now I feel that your government was wrong to take such a soft approach as Thailand becomes the laughing stock of Asia at the canceled Asia Forum. The government should learn from these mistakes and show no any weakness to mobs of any persuasion in the future. Indeed, for anyone who pursuits his / her personal interests at the price of violating country’s interests and people’s fulfillment, he/she should be blamed. == As a foreign student, all I can express are not that much. However, I concern what have happened in Thailand. A basic voice from our foreign students is " please, sit down and talk as much as possible. " Fighting is not the way that Thai people like to do to each other, right? |
