Princess Sirindhorn asks officials to care people paying tribute

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn has asked the Royal Household Bureau to care for those paying respects to her aunt, Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana.

The elder sister of His Majesty the King passed away at the age of 84 early on Wednesday.

"Royal doctors are on standby," bureau official Supachai Pantupanan said.

According to bureau, members of the public can pay respects before her portrait at the Saha Thai Samakhom Pavilion between 9am and 5pm until Wednesday. They can sign a message book, too.

The public can pay respects as the Princess lies in state at the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall between 9am and 4pm from next Friday until April 17, except on days with royal ceremonies.

"Next Thursday, members of the public can come between 2pm and 4pm only. There will be a royal ceremony in the morning," Supachai said.
